SURESH REDDY
Suresh is the Chairman & CEO of Brightcom Group. An entrepreneur with a commitment to building high value businesses, Suresh is responsible for promoting the success of the group and its worldwide functions and sustainability. With over a decade of online marketing and advertising experience, he has a strong understanding of building effective cross-country and cross-cultural business operations. He directs and supervises the group's strategy and its implementation globally.
Suresh founded two successful companies USAGreetings and Ybrant Technologies. He maintains a global network of trusted relationships with peer entrepreneurs, corporates, partners, institutions and the media. He has consummated, completed and integrated 10 major acquisitions for Ybrant Digital, coupled with fund raising. The group under his leadership has raised $100 million in equity and debt over a period of 7 years.
Prior to co-founding two successful companies USAGreetings and Ybrant Technologies, he worked in various roles across different industries in Fortune 500 companies, such as Caterpillar, Chrysler, SBC(PacBell) and Charles Schwab.
Suresh holds an M. S. in Engineering from the Iowa State University and a B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.
RAGHUNATH ALLAMSETTYi
Raghunath Allamsetty, is one of the veteran IT professionals in the country, who co-founded many US-based technology start-ups in India. Raghu is the co-founder of Platys Communications in India, which is one of the first Fab-less digital high speed ASIC (Chip) design house in Hyderabad, that was acquired by Adaptec Inc., CA USA.
Raghu is well-connected and is the recipient of many key achievement awards from different forums. He was the Chairman of AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce) of the Hyderabad Chapter for the year 2004 and was re-elected in 2005. He is a very active member of the Organising Committee of the Hyderabad section of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers), Secretary – Japanese Business Council, affiliated to Indo-Japanese Chambers of Commerce in India, and Charter Member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs).
Raghu is the Founder and Managing Director of Ivana Foods Pvt. Ltd., a Food Processing Technology company with the vision of being the world's first 100% natural, ready to consume, beverages and foods. He has over 20 + years of proven expertise in the areas of Project Development, Technical Management and Business Development. Raghu strongly believes in achieving operational excellence through a model of people-driven, participative style of Management.
Raghu's past assignments include, Board of Director for LYCOS, formerly (Ybrant Digital Limited) a Digital Marketing Company listed with the Bombay Stock Exchange and NSE, Vice President – Asia Pacific, for Intrepid Global Security Solutions Inc., based out of Miami, USA, Managing Director of Apere India Private Limited, an Identity Management Solutions Company, Managing Director of Adaptec India Pvt. Ltd., and Co-founder & CEO of various organisations. Prior to joining Adaptec, he was into offshore back office support and software development. He has been instrumental in the emergence of Adaptec in India and has played a significant role in the company's acquisition of a local company.
His expertise extends into the areas of Management, Operations, R&D, Hardware Engineering, and Software Design & Development. His skill in working with remote locations across international locations with expertise in operations and people management with diverse cultures, has led to the unmatched success of his teams.
A people's person at heart and a manner of being extremely down to earth, he has brought in the best talent into the organisations and holds a coveted record of a hundred percent resource retention in aggressive market conditions.
Raghu has been involved with many NGOs and holds a respectable position in ROTARY, Task Force Member of SOS (save our Schools) of Rotary Initiatives and has served in many more capacities.
VIJAY KANCHARLA
Vijay leads the innovations at Brightcom Group. He is responsible for the company's worldwide technology enhancements and innovations.Vijay has been at the forefront of the internet revolution and has vast experience in building innovative solutions for the online market.
Prior to co-founding USAGreetings and Ybrant Technologies, he worked with some of the Fortune 500 companies, such as Hewlett Packard and Pacific Bell.
Vijay holds an M. S. in Computer Science from the University of Louisville and a B. Tech. from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India.
Sateesh Cheeti
Satish is a seasoned leader & entrepreneur with strategic experience in successfully driving digitization & transformation across varied industries and geographies. As the Division Chief of Brightcom Audio, he helps in driving the strategy & growth for the next evolution of BCG in Digital Audio.
He previously served as the CEO of Ramky Reclamation and Recycling Ltd. He started a formal recycling business, as a subsidiary of India's largest waste management company and also led their digitization drive. In his other avatars, Satish Cheeti was the co-founder and COO of the data sciences and ML company, Invati Insights. This was acquired by Cyient (a $ 700 MM engineering services company) in 2018. He worked at Delphi, helping the M&A group and led an extensive reorganization across four continents. He worked at Pricewaterhousecoopers, where he was advising various Fortune 50 companies' CEOs globally on strategy. e-business and operations. He also worked at Fiat Chrysler and co-founded a medical services company, Valuexcel.
Satish holds advanced management and engineering degrees from University of Michigan (Ross Business School), Texas A&M University and Osmania University (India).
Dr. Jayalakshmi Kumari
Dr. Jayalakshmi Kumari has a Ph.D. in social sciences, an M.A in Economics, M.A in Political Science, M.Phil. and M.Ed., with years of experience in teaching. With proven ability to constantly challenge and improve existing processes and systems, she has been participating and rendering voluntary services to many social organizations.
With a deep passion for teaching, Dr. Jayalakshmi brings in 15 years of experience from the educational sector having worked for leading schools and colleges in Hyderabad. Presently, she is working with the Nalanda Educational Society as a faculty in the field of social sciences. In addition to this, she regularly conducts awareness programs for women's development, entrepreneurship, health camps, and does community services towards encouragement of economically weaker women.
Dr. Jayalakshmi is also an Independent director in the listed company M/s Cambridge Technology Enterprises Ltd., Hyderabad.
Dr. Surabhi Sinha
With a PhD in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and several academic publications to her credit, Dr. Surabhi Sinha started off as a Research Assistant at the Council for Scientific & Industrial Research, India, way back in 1992. She served as Project Associate in the Department of Mathematics – IIT, Kharagpur for around 7 years. Later, she moved on in 2005 to serve as a Faculty in Hyderabad Central University for 2 years.
Dr. Surabhi has published several academic papers in the field of Fuzzy Programming, Multi-level Non-linear Systems, Linear Programming Approaches, and Integer Solutions via Goal Programming.
Dr. Surabhi also holds an M.SC in Mathematics from IIT – Kharagpur, B.SC (Honors) in Mathematics from IIT-Kharagpur, and a Diploma in Information Technology from the National Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. To note, she received a gold Medal for excelling in the course work.
Nilendu Narayan Chakraborty
Mr. Nilendu is a qualified Chartered Accountant currently working as a Group Financial Controller at Abu Hani Establishment LLC, Muscat, Oman. He has vast experience of over two decades in the financial sector.
He is a results-driven and detail-oriented Group Financial Controller with 12+ years of leadership experience overseeing (1000+) employees in cross-functional departments in multi-industry private businesses. He has streamlined business efficiencies in large corporates by enhancing risk controls, financial reporting systems, information systems and budgetary controls.
He is renowned for conceptualizing, developing and executing new business lines. He does all that through excellent client relationships and good contract negotiations with international suppliers, financing institutions, distributors and related external parties.
Peshwa Acharya
An industry veteran, Acharya is the Chief Marketing Officer (Responsible for Marketing, Revenue and Admissions) at the Ampersand Group. He has a vast experience of around 29 years across FMCG, Retail, Telecom, E-Commerce, Hospitality and Education domains.
Archarya, an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta and has worked in various cities in India and across Asia and Africa. He has held various leadership roles for brands like P&G, Reckitt, Pepsi, Dabur, Reliance Retail, Globacom (Africa) and Sterling Holidays(A Fairfax company). Some of the brands launched / Relaunched & built by him are Reliance Digital, Hutch, Ariel, Dettol, Promise, Harpic, Mortein, Babool, Apps Daily and Housing.com. In 2015, he was handpicked as the first CEO of IIT Bombay Research & Innovation Park (ASPIRE). He also founded entrepreneurial ventures: Think as Consumer (www.thinkasconsumer.com ) and Leven Healthcare.
Mario Rosati
Mario Rosati is a Partner and Member of the Executive Management Committee at the Law Firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California.
Mr. Rosati is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (B.A., History 1968) and Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley (J.D. 1971, Am Jur Award in Corporations).
Mr. Rosati joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in 1971 and became a Member in January 1975. In 1981, Mr. Rosati participated in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Task Force to the office of the President Elect, Ronald Reagan, and in 1982-83 served as a Special Consultant to the Secretary, Drew Lewis, and Deputy Secretary of Transportation, Darrel Trent. In this connection, he was a Member of the Airport Access Task Force.
Mr. Rosati is a Director of Aehr Test Systems, Mountain View, California; Genus, Inc., Mountain View, California; Sanmina-SCI Corporation, San Jose, California; Symyx Technologies, Inc., Santa Clara, California; Vivus, Inc., Mountain View, California; all publicly traded companies, and several privately-held companies.
Mr. Rosati has sat as Judge Pro-Tem in the Superior Court, State of California, San Mateo County.
Mr. Rosati is an adjunct Professor, Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is also on the UC Berkeley Foundation Board of Trustees.
Arjun Malhotra
Mr. Malhotra is the former Chairman of Headstrong. Prior to Headstrong, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TechSpan, which merged with Headstrong in November 2003. Late 1998, Mr. Malhotra founded TechSpan with funding from Goldman Sachs and Walden International.
Mr. Malhotra founded and built HCL from a six-person “garage operation” in 1975 to India’s largest Information Technology corporation with over 8,400 people. He took over the US Operations of the group in 1989 and grew it to nearly $100 million annual revenues. In 1992, he let the HCL-HP joint venture in India. In 1996, he set up and carried out the joint venture with Deluxe Corporation, and consolidated and grew the HCL Australasia operations in Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. Today, the HCL group is over $850 million worldwide.
Arjun did his B.Tech (Hons.) in Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, where he was awarded the Dr. B.C. Roy Gold Medal. In 1985, he attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
Arjun founded the Prof. G.S. Sanyal School of Telecommunications at IIT Kharagpur through personal endowment of Rs. 30 million, and was a Member of the Board of Governors for the School, the Technology Foundation of IIT Kharagpur, and the Mission Management Board in Communication Networking and Intelligent Automation – a technology development mission jointly undertaken by IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur. He was a Member of the Board of Governors for the Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, and was Vice President of the Doon School Old Boys’ Society.
Arjun is a Fellow of the Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers, India (FIETE), and a Member of the Institute of Engineers, India (MIE). He is also one of the founding members of SPIC-MACAY – Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth. Today, it is India’s largest non-government, not for profit, social and cultural organization.
Peter Purushotma
Peter is a Singaporean, has varied international industry experience with extensive personal relationships in Australia, Asia-Pacific, and the United States. These include several C-Level and Board level relationships. Currently he is the Advisor to The Office of Chairman and CEO, Headstrong Inc.
He was the Senior Vice President at TechSpan Inc. (now Headstrong Inc.) in California; Sr. Vice President of HCL AMERICA Inc, SoftPlus Inc; President of HCL Corporation – Advanced Technology Group; Co-Chair for the Einstein Technology Award (Asia-Pacific); Campaign Board Member for “Words can Heal”; Advisor to the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) for its IT Summit in California.; Advisor to National University of Singapore in Silicon Valley Program; and Founder/Board Advisor to several Silicon Valley and Singapore start-ups.
He has held Executive and Sales Management positions with several multinationals: Olivetti, Unisys, Wang, and Oriental Data Systems in Singapore and Asia-Pacific, including Australia. Won several Regional and International, Sales and Management awards in each of these Organizations.
As a Founding Director of Far East Computers in Singapore and Sydney, Australia he visioned and implemented strategic partnerships and joint ventures with US companies: Oracle, Sybase, Apollo, Banyan, Sequent, and Storage Technology. He initiated dialog with the founders of these US companies, conceived and implemented winning strategies for their Asia-Pacific markets through Far East Computers.
Ram Jayam
Prior to founding Apere, Ram had founded and ran Platys communications a leader in IP storage solutions. Platys was acquired by Adaptec in 2001 for $150M. As Vice President and General Manager at Adaptec he managed $240M/year channel and OEM business. Ram also founded and ran Stargate Solutions a leader in Intellectual Property Licensing for Network Processors and Gigabit Ethernet. Ram, a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Computer Engineering, has several patents. Ram is a recognized authority in the technology field, and continues to be an active participant in media discussions and a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Nixon Patel
Nixon Patel has 30 years of stellar expertise in innovating, scaling & growing sunrise deep tech businesses in the areas of Quantum Communications, Quantum Artificial Intelligence, Voice & Digital solutions. Most recently, he & his team patented 10+IPs in the areas of Quantum Secure Communications and Quantum Memory.
Nixon is considered as an expert in the field of Quantum Communications, Quantum AI, Data Science & AI and has been a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of developing and commercialising new technologies into successful enterprises like Yantra Soft, Yantra eSolar, Kovid Analytics, eCom Server, and Bhrigus Soft prior to setting up Qulabz. In his past positions, he has created viable offerings in Big Data Analytics, specifically Predictive Analytics, Speech Emotion Recognition, Facial Emotion Recognition, and Video Analytics. And was instrumental in the development of Cognitive Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and IoT solutions.
He is also an Adjunct Professor at IIT Hyderabad in AI & EE Department, appointed to ISO Quantum Computing International Standards Working Group (2018), also appointed to Inter Ministerial committee on Quantum Communications by Govt. Of India DoT (2022).
Nixon has completed his Certification in Quantum Computing at Massachusetts Institute Of Technology, MA, Master of Business & Science (MBS) in Analytics, Rutgers University, NJ and Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), NJ and BTech from IIT Kharagpur.
